The Tea Seller Who Reads Tagore Every Morning

At the dawn of every day, on a chipped enamel kettle and worn copy of Gitanjali, Pradip-da curates Barrackpore's most intellectual chai stall.
If you walk past the BN Bose Sub-Divisional Hospital around 6:30am, you'll see him: Pradip Mondal, 62, brewing chai while quoting Tagore's verses with the precision of a college professor. His stall has become an open-air library.
